FLIP FLAPPIN' Excitement!

Wierd tite?  I tried to come up with something clever.  First things first.  Random.org picked comment #4 last week, so Crystal, you are the winner.  Congrats!!  I'll be in touch!

I'm going to start with this weeks give away.  I am SO excited for the sale that starts tomorrow.  So, everyn one of my customers that places an order on my website (http://www.scrapwithsassy.myctmh.com/) and comes back and comments here will be entered into this weeks giveaway!

So, here's the breakdown.
  • Go to my website - http://www.scrapwithsassy.myctmh.com/
  • Click shop online
  • Find the $2, $4, $6 for 8 sale and click on it.
  • Order to your hearts content.  (You can add regular items as well as the sale items)
  • Check out and place your order
  • Come back and comment in the comments of THIS blog post.
  • You are entered.  It's that easy.  (Or not!)  :)
So, I am going to start giving you some sneak peaks of new products.  A few of you already have some of the products, and I have leaked a bit of information already, like the 8 new colors.  The product I am going to show you today will blow your socks off!  It is probably my FAVORITE new product.  They are called Flip Flaps.  (Get the post title now??)

You add the flip flaps to your regular page protectors to create flips and flaps (get it yet?) to your pages.  You can double, triple or quadrouple your picture surface simply by adding a flip, a flap or both!  Check out these photos.  (Heads up - this is one of the new paper packs!!)

There are 4 inch, 6 inch and 8 inch flaps.  (This layout uses the Magnifique paper pack) You take your base layout and put it in a page protector.  Each Flip Flap has adhesive on one side and you stick it directly to the back or front of your page protector.  There is one REALLY cool layout in the new Magic layout book (hint hint) that does a 4 in flip and an 8 inch flip combined with a 6 inch flap on both sides.  Holy Overload.

So, on to the giveaway this week.  How would you like to be one of the first to try out these flip flap pages?  Random.org will pick a comment and that lucky winner will recieve a set of Flip Flaps, 10 regulary Matte page protectors and a level 2 paper pack to play with.  So, order.  Make sure you come back and leave a comment to be entered!

Next weeks giveaway will be MAGIC!!  :)

This is a GREAT week!

I am finally getting back into the groove of things.  Laundry, cooking, dishes, bathtime and no ME time.  That's the greatest thing about D.C.  9 days of me time!!  I enjoyed almost every second.  (Getting sick on the flights wasn't the best!)  Anyway, today is a good day.  9 years ago today I married my best friend.  Want to see?
Sweet, huh?  Yep.  That's us.  Love it!

So, first, let's do winners from last week.  Can I have a drum roll please?

Winner of the $25 in product is #2 - Nichole.

Winners of a stamp set and a new ink pad are: #10 Amber, #12 Shelby and #2 Misty.  Amber and Shelby, I have your contact info.  Misty, will you e-mail me your address so I can ship you your winnings?  (Amber, your package WILL go in the mail today!)

This week, I want to share with you a card that we made at Convention.
It sure is a beauty.  It is a clear card*.  One of the new bracket ones.  LOVE it!  I'm full of love, can you tell?  :)  Anyway, it's never too soon to start on Christmas cards.  Do you keep Christmas cards like me?  The challenge this week, post a Christmas Card.  Either one you make (or made) or one of your favorite that someone sent you.  I love getting inspiration from other people.  This will be our version of Christmas in July.  I want to get a start early on my cards this year.  We are taking our pictures next week!  :)

CTMH sure loves us.  A few years back, they came out with the Creative Basics.  Every catalog as one set of Creative Basics.  They pick one of the lines and use it to make patterned paper (b&t) for the card makers.  PERFECT for Christmas cards.  This year, it's using the Mistletoe paper.  (Not pictured above.)  You get 8 sheets of 2 different prints.  Endless possibilities and easier to do cards.

So, I will have random.org pick a winner of those who post with a picture with the cards.  That winner will recieve the Mistletoe Creative Basics and a Christmas stamp set to help you get a jump start on your Christmas Cards.

*Supplies used for card: Mistletoe level 2, Cocoa & New England Cardstock, Cocoa & Cranberry,  Ink pad, Mocha Opaques, Clear Card, Unity stamp set (C1422), Circle of Love stamp set (D1438) and The Present stamp set (D1436).

I'm in trouble - Summer of Give Aways!

I need to apologize.  I missed 2 weeks.  I needed to help a friend the last few days before I left for my vacation, so I wasn't able to post.

But, for my bad, you will reap!!  I have just returned from CTMH's annual convention.  I had SO much fun.  There are so many fun new products coming out.  They introduced 8 new colors and some great new tings.  Plus, they have revamped the Studio J program.  We walked away from Convention with hundreds of dollars in new products.  So, here is what you need to do.

Since I am the slacker, what you need to do is simple.  There will be several winners this week.  Random.org will pick 3 numbers for the winners.  Each winner will receive a BRAND new never seen before stamp set and a BRAND new ink pad in one of the 8 colors.  Plus, I will throw in a few embellishments that I got when I was there.

So, here is what you need to do.  Leave a comment.  (Only one per day per person) and tell me something that you would order if you could order anything you want.  And, one lucky person (in addition to the 3 winners) that will win $25 in free product from the brand new catalog (I won't get the catalog until August 1st).  So, start leaving your comments.  I'm so sorry!!

Wednesday, June 23, 2010

Thanks for playing.  Last week there were only 4 entries.  The winner was comment #2.  Crystal.  You have $25 in product from the catalog.  Make sure you call me with your order!  That means we get to talk!  :)  The winner of the free stamp set is comment #3.  Amber E.  Let me know what stamp set you want and I will get it ordered!  I'm sending you a new catalog with the package I am mailing today!

For this weeks challenge, we are doing a color combo.  I was in need of a change yesterday.  I am working on a memory album for my cousin whose oldest boy commited suicide.  I was feeling down, so I picked up a Bo Bunny Album and paper pad and completed the whole thing in 3 hours.  It was great.  Now I feel refreshed and ready to do again on Deven's album.  So, your color combo is Purple and Green.  I don't care what shades.  IF you have Close to my Heart supplies, please use at least one in your creation.  Card, layout or decorative item.  The sky is the limit on this one.

Now, it's your turn.  Post your pictures.

Summer of Giveaways Week 3

Sorry I'm a bit late today.  I pulled a muscle in my neck yesterday morning and haven't gotten out of bed until now today and really shouldn't be out of bed now.  Anyway, we have 2 winners from last week!  I'm excited that 4 people played in the creating challenge.  Thanks to random.org, our winner for the cards is Shelby!  Get working on your wish list!!  Send it to me when you are ready.

As for leaving comments, thanks to random.org again, the winner is comment #1 - Amber E.  Amber, I need your address so I can mail you your prize.

Because I am in pain, this week will be easy.  It's going to be another comment driven one with not much thought from me.  Leave me a comment telling me one of the things you love about the new catalog.  It can be a product, a color combination or a layout.  Again, you can enter 1 time every day.  Because it hurts to just move, I can't take a picture of the prize,  this week the prize will be $25 in product from the catalog.  A 2nd winner will receive a stamp set of their choice (A-D in size) mailed to them.  Let me know if you have any questions.  As soon as I feel better, I will post some of the things I have been doing.  I made a bunch of cards for fathers day using the June Stamp of the Month and I am working on a remembrance album for my cousin who's oldest son committed suicide a few months ago.  Anyway, off to lala land and bed I go.  Thanks for stopping by!

P.S.  Next week will be a color combo challenge.  Get ready to create!
